Saying bedtime prayers is something I encourage the girls to do every night. We own a handful of books that teach children how to pray, but this one is probably my favorite.
I Love You to God and Back
Show your precious little ones how much you love them . . . with every bedtime prayer.
Everyone loves a sweet bedtime story—and this one has the added bonus of teaching children a lifestyle of healthy prayer. Starting with sweet and silly text about bedtime routines—teeth brushing, story time, and one more glass of water—this delightful book will then teach children how to pray: love God, ask Him for forgiveness, thank Him for many blessings, and offer requests. Throughout the bedtime rituals, Mommy and Baby giggle as they play a game to describe how much they love each other. This unique story will make bedtime prayers a real learning and bonding experience for parents and children.”
I Love You to God and Back by Amanda Lamb does a great job of showing kids how to pray. Bitty Bunny expresses her love for God, thanks Him for her blessings, asks for forgiveness and adds in requests for those in need. I also enjoy how Mommy and Bitty Bunny declare their love for one another throughout the book, which is something the girls and I do often. This book is a great way for moms to not only connect with their little ones, but also help shape their faith during bedtime prayers.
The artwork throughout the book is cute and cuddly making it visually appealing to young kids. However, if your little one has a short attention span, particularly during bedtime, you may have to improvise and modify the story as you read along as it is a little wordy. Other than that, I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking to teach their little ones how to pray during bedtime.

what a great book
I’d love to have this for my son, I’ve been trying to teach him to pray but maybe a book will help me communicate it better.
By the way he is on my lap and wants to type to:

This looks like a great book!
I make sure to say “I love you”, we say it lots at bedtime. We brush teeth, read a book, and say our prayers, and then its lights out.
My little guy is a little young, but I always kiss him and tell him how much I love him.
very important… we read every night
My boys are grown now….when they were little, we made a point of reminding them that no matter how stressful/trying/disappointing/full of bad behavior (for all of us!) had been, we still loved them, and tomorrow was a chance for a brand new day that could either be better (if it had been a bad day) or, just as great (if it had been a good day!
If I am lucky in this giveaway, my 4 year old nephew will get a new book! : )
That I love them.
My 3 year old loves to read and gets so excited over new books! She would love this one too!
