This week was a little tough. I spent the majority of the week stressing about the possibility of having to return to work. The thought of reentering the workforce and putting the girls in daycare gives me anxiety, and when I’m emotional, I want to eat.
However, emotional eating is no longer an option for me. I’ve said it before- I am 100% committed to my Medifast program! And while I remained on plan the entire week, I could feel that I wasn’t losing as much as I had the previous two weeks.
How did I deal with this? Well, it was really hard. Not seeing that scale budge can be very disheartening and discouraging. Yet, I kept thinking to myself, “21.1 lbs so far! Don’t throw it away on an off-week.”
I posted my dismays on the MyMedifast forums and discovered there is somewhat of a “third week curse”, which happens because your body is adjusting to the amazing weight loss from the first two weeks. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that next week is better.

You are rockin it friend! Sorry for the rough week! I can only imagine the stress you’re going thru with that big decision of going back to work outside the home. Praying for you and you will do whatever you have to for your family I’m sure, and it will be the right choice for you all. I’ve been on the fence with Medifast and REALLY am so close to committing.
