The weather here in the Bay Area has been somewhat iffy. When we left the house yesterday morning, I swear I thought it was going to rain. Later in the day, it was bright, sunny and it turned out to be a surprisingly nice day. And because I thought it was going to be a wet day, the girls were able to finally wear their rain boots and coats, which they have been dying to wear!

Well both the girls outgrew those ladybug boots and raincoat, and they were crushed. So last year we bought them new rain boots and raincoats, and let them choose which ones they wanted.
Eleanor went with the Ballerina and Isabel went with the cat. But to be honest, they both wanted to get the ladybug set, but Paul and I didn’t want to spend money on something we already owned. So we sorta pushed them to get something different.
And while the ballerina and cat are cute, I am partial to the ladybug. Who knows, maybe I’ll buy both of them a new ladybug set for next year when they outgrow these.
