Paul and I always make plans for the weekend. We had big plans to finish cleaning our apartment and do laundry. You know, the usual. But as always, nothing ever goes as planned.
Instead, we ended up taking the girls out to lunch to their favorite bagel cafe.
Eleanor was pretty stoked. Breakfast foods are her favorite. As soon as we pulled up to the cafe, she darted straight for the counter despite my countless calls to “wait for mommy”.
Afterwards, we did a little grocery shopping and I suggested we drive by a preschool I’ve been looking into for Eleanor. Luckily for the girls, it happens to be right across the street from an awesome tot lot, a.k.a. toddler playground, so they were able to run wild and play.
Before we headed home, we decided to go for a nice, long walk along the bay. The weather was absolutely perfect and the views were gorgeous. Pushing a double BOB stroller with two toddlers up a hill is quite the workout. By the time we arrived at home, I was beat.

Well, it seems you had a great weekend though it was ‘unplanned’
We used the weekend to recover from our vacay down south last week. It was one of those vacations you need a vacation from
