LeapFrog Touch Magic Rock’n Learn Party

Rock'n Learn Party

Earlier this month the girls and I threw a party. I had been promising them an ice cream party all summer. So when we had the opportunity to try out some new LeapFrog products, we decide it was the perfect opportunity to finally have our ice cream party and invite a few kids over.

First we got the kids all sugared up on ice cream, cookies and candy.

Then we let them rock out all their energy and go wild with the new LeapFrog Touch Magic Rockin’ Guitar and Learning Bus.

The LeapFrog Touch Magic Rockin’ Guitar is super lightweight, thin, and comes with a neck strap that can be easily detached, if needed. I personally am not too fond of the neck strap as it can be potentially dangerous and the girls have already gotten themselves tangled in it. The guitar can be switched between acoustic and electric, and comes with built-in songs such as Rockin’ Robin and The Alphabet Song. Luckily, we had two guitars because these were definitely the hot items of the night.

(Excuse the blurry photos. Trying to get pictures of little ones on a sugar high while rockin’ out on their guitars is quite the challenge in a poorly lit apartment. They simply could not stop to pose for a photo because they were too amped about the guitars.)

The Touch Magic Learning Bus is definitely more for the younger kids. Isabel ended up playing with it the majority of the night, as she was the youngest one at the party. Like the guitar, it is also thin, lightweight and has built-in songs, including Wheels on the Bus and the ABC song. It also has drum pads and piano keys so you can play along with the songs.

The kids also did a little coloring with some of the LeapFrog coloring pages we received. It was a nice and quiet activity to help calm them down.

Overall our party was a success, and our little party banner says it all…

p.s. I almost forgot to mention that you can enter for a chance to win $500 in the Rockin’ Guitar Video Contest. Visit LeapFrog for offical rules and details.

Disclosure: I received the LeapFrog products mentioned above to host the LeapFrog sponsored Rock’n Learn Party. Opinions here are solely my own.
