Back-to-School

Yes, you’re right. This couldn’t possibly be a back-to-school post because neither of the girls are enrolled in preschool, yet. But with Eleanor sporting a backpack in these photos, I couldn’t help but be reminded of the upcoming back-to-school season.

Paul and I have been looking into different preschools in our area. Unfortunately, the prices are outrageous and most are only a couple hours a day, 2-3 times/week. While I plan to return to the workforce sometime soon, I certainly do not want the girls in daycare full-time being raised by someone other than Paul or I. So we are leaning towards a co-op nursery school, as I would definitely like to be involved in their education and get to know the other parents, as well as the teachers, who will be around them.

Now if only I could find the perfect job that would pay me enough to cover the cost of preschool, but still allow me enough free time to spend with my loveys.

You’re so right about preschool being so pricey! And those are two delightfully stylish tots!

Pre-school and daycare was pricey when my kids were in it and that was over 20 years ago!

I agree, I don’t want my boys in daycare all day, so I became a work at home mom.

They are too cute, we’re having the same issue with a preschool for Mason!

I love your kid style posts! I might just have to steal your idea… ;) Hanna has a ton of cute clothes (way more than I do, that’s for sure) and it would be fun to show them off. Your girls are so darn cute!

I just adore their outfits, especially how they coordinate so well but aren’t identical.

I agree with you on preschool being a nice chunk of change. Here we have the free vpk which is free for kids who are 3/4 I think. Great program. Cute outfits :)
