This week we’re linking up with one of my favorite bloggers, Mandy, because even though I don’t step out in cute clothes on the weekend, the girls sure do!
Yesterday, Eleanor was itching to pick out her own clothes, and when she saw a pair of overall shorts, she jumped at the chance to wear them. For some reason, she associates overalls with farmers, and she insisted that she was going to be a “farmer”.With Isabel, the moment I put that blue skirt on her, she became a hula dancer. Any skirt + Isabel = hula dancing. You should see this little one shake her bon bon.
Rainboots: Kidorable | Woody Hat: Disney Store
Shortly after getting Eleanor dressed, she returned to show me her ‘farmer boots’ and demanded I get her a farmer hat. So I grabbed our Woody hat and voila!, she transformed into Farmer Ellie.
Shoes: Target | Plumeria Hair Clip: Aloha Stadium Swap Meet, Hawaii
Still in her hula dancer mindset, Isabel refused to wear any of the three shirts I initially handed her because “No, mommy! I a hula dance.” She does not say hula dancer, but instead just hula dance. So when I spotted the Lilo t-shirt I knew this would satisfy her. Then I clipped a plumeria on one of her pigtails and her ensemble was complete.
