A Farmer & Hula Dancer

This week we’re linking up with one of my favorite bloggers, Mandy, because even though I don’t step out in cute clothes on the weekend, the girls sure do!

Yesterday, Eleanor was itching to pick out her own clothes, and when she saw a pair of overall shorts, she jumped at the chance to wear them. For some reason, she associates overalls with farmers, and she insisted that she was going to be a “farmer”.

With Isabel, the moment I put that blue skirt on her, she became a hula dancer. Any skirt + Isabel = hula dancing. You should see this little one shake her bon bon.

Kid Style Eleanor
On Eleanor- Overall Shorts: Sprockets, hand-me-down | White Tee: Carter’s
Rainboots: Kidorable | Woody Hat: Disney Store

Shortly after getting Eleanor dressed, she returned to show me her ‘farmer boots’ and demanded I get her a farmer hat. So I grabbed our Woody hat and voila!, she transformed into Farmer Ellie.

Kid Style Isabel
On Isabel- T-Shirt: Disney Store, Hawaii | Skirt: Target
Shoes: Target | Plumeria Hair Clip: Aloha Stadium Swap Meet, Hawaii

Still in her hula dancer mindset, Isabel refused to wear any of the three shirts I initially handed her because “No, mommy! I a hula dance.” She does not say hula dancer, but instead just hula dance. So when I spotted the Lilo t-shirt I knew this would satisfy her. Then I clipped a plumeria on one of her pigtails and her ensemble was complete.

Aren’t these two a hoot? I love, love, LOVE them.

And here’s a pic of Ginger and Eleanor. Yes, I’m obsessed with my Ginger. Epiphanie bags rock!

They are way too cute! You could put anything on them and they’d still look adorable. And Ginger is pretty darn cute too, LOL! ;)
