Monday was Paul’s birthday. When I asked Soleil what she wanted to give her daddy for his birthday, she said she wanted to bake him a cake. So bake a cake she did!
She even waited anxiously for it to finish baking.
That cake couldn’t bake fast enough for her. Nor could it cool down fast enough. The frosting was starting to melt as she spread it because the cake was still warm..
Her favorite part? Licking the frosting off the spatula.
And of course, she just had to decorate it with fresh strawberries because they are her favorite.
She even got to help her daddy blow out the candles. What a lucky girl!
