I had an amazing Mother’s Day weekend. For the past two years, I’ve complained that my husband doesn’t take holidays seriously. He usually never plans anything special for Valentine’s Day, our anniversary, or Mother’s Day. This year, he is three for three!
On Saturday, we spent the day in San Francisco. We started off in Chinatown, had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe off Embarcadero, and ended the day at Pier 39. Rather than give you the details, have a looksie at all the wonderful photos I took using my DSLR camera in manual. I tell ya, I’m determined to learn to use the darn thing!
…not too bad, huh? I promise I will not be turning this blog into a photo blog, but I will be including a lot more photos than I have in the past.
This past weekend, I realized I’m definitely changing. The city I once claimed to dislike and would never live in is actually starting to grow on me. We’ve spent more time in San Francisco these past few months than I’ve ever had in my entire life. And I may have even mentioned to Paul that I wouldn’t mind living there if given the opportunity.
Come back tomorrow to see what Paulito gave me for Mother’s Day and what fun adventures we had on Sunday!

Really San Francisco is an wonderful place to travel. I think you have passed a nice time in San Francisco. Again you can plan a travel to San Francisco for mother’s day.
LOVE that owl purse in Chinatown and the Rainforest Cafe is one of my favorite places to go! Haven’t been since college. Looks like y’all had a blast.
I love the owl purse, too! There were tons of owls everywhere and there were these absolutely adorable owl tea cups. I wish I would’ve taken a pic of those.
Looks like you had fun! Good job with the pictures. My husband has a fancy dslr camera that I have been trying to learn how to use.
Wow, they are really cute and colorful pictures you have over there. The places you toured are amazing, and the kids seem to be having a lot of fun. I like!
